The Boy Who Would Be King
()
About this ebook
Bookstores are filled with books that tell of the birth of Jesus, especially at Christmas time, and this is good. But young readers need to learn more about the life of Jesus and why He was born. They need to know why Jesus is our King.
This book is for children and youth, and even new believers, and it tells the whole story in a simple and easy format! It begins with His birth and takes us right through His life. It's written in large print so that even the vision impaired and the elderly can enjoy reading about Jesus!
Parents, Proverbs 22:6 says that we must train our children in the way of the Lord so the truth will always be in their hearts. If we want our children to know Jesus as their own personal Lord and Savior, then we must give them every opportunity to learn the truth when they are young. This book will show them how God’s own little boy grew up to be the King that would change the world!

Lucy swung her Nana’s hand as they walked along the sidewalk that was covered in crunchy, white snow. She giggled as big fluffy snowflakes fell gently down and tickled her face. It was wonderful to see the Christmas decorations in the store windows as they strolled by. Lucy was very happy to spend the day with her Nana.
But then Lucy’s face became sad. She remembered that she had a school project to do, and she hadn’t even started it yet. It was due in a few days, and she was worried.
Nana, I still don’t know what to do my project on. I don’t know anyone famous to write about.
Well Sweetie, I wouldn’t worry about it,
Nana said as she smiled. Let’s just enjoy our shopping day, and I bet that an idea will just pop out of one of these windows. Then you’ll know exactly who to write about.
