Shealene, originally from Bangor, Maine, is a single parent who has lived in Hampton, Virginia, for the last fourteen years with her children, Tyla Renee’ and Austin James. A major part of her inspiration came from the work she did for several years serving families living in Hampton, educating parents on child development and parenting skills. Shealene was featured in an April 21, 2003 People magazine article about her work in helping families to love their children and building better mothers. With her life goal to educate parents to help create healthier and whole-spirited humans.
