About this ebook

The book is designed to help children learn and understand the concepts of a computer. It gives them step by step instructions and leads them through the process on how to do something. The book also provides screenshots so the child can also use visual associations with the words that he/she is reading. They also have some exercises in the book that they can do to help them remember what was taught to them. Children learn at an early age and soak up the knowledge. It is best to give them as much information, and to display that information, in as many ways as possible. By the time your child reads this book, they will have a very good basic, but yet strong foundation of the Microsoft Windows operating system. The book is meant for anyone, not only children, to be able to pick it up, read it, and understand it from a non-technical standpoint. Please look towards the back of the book to contact the author for any pre-sales questions or comments.

Chris Cataldo

My name is Chris Cataldo. I have 30 years of professional computer experience. In 2012, I had decided to write a computer book for kids. This was my first book I wrote and did not expect it to take off. It is now almost 5 years later and I feel it is time for another book! My first book: Computers For Kids (https://www.amazon.com/Computers-Kids-Chris-Cataldo-2012-09-10/dp/B01NH06U6M/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1486092426&sr=8-2&keywords=chris+cataldo) was a basic book to help kids learn about the computer and its functions. With the great feedback and sales from the first book it is my pleasure to bring to you Windows 10 The Easy Way! This book will take you step by step into the world of Windows 10. This book will also be more detailed than the first book. I am also A+, Network+, MCP and MCSA certified. So, roll up your sleeves and dig right in and learn everything there is to know about Windows 10!

    Who Is This Book For?

This book is for kids who want to learn the computer at an early age. This book is generally intended for children around the age of 7. The book teaches the child the very basics of the computer. It also gives a very basic but yet strong foundation in getting to know the Microsoft Windows operating system.

    How The Book Is Designed

The book is designed as a very graphic way to teach children the computer. I believe that a child learns best if he/she can associate a picture with a word. The chapters are very small so the child can pick up on the material fairly quickly. It is meant to be a fun way to learn as well.

    LEGAL STUFF

Computers For Kids contains images and logos that I have received written permission by the companies who own them.

    DEDICATIONS

This book is dedicated to the following people (in no special order).

William: A fellow author who inspired me to start this book. If I didn’t have food delivered, we would have never met and this book would have probably not have been born. Thank you for your support.

My Mom: You always told me as a kid to not let my vision get in the way of anything and that I can do anything I wanted, so, here I am writing this book.

My Wife: You helped me with proofreading and modifying this book. I realize I was probably a pain in the butt, but I want you to know that I really appreciate you helping me along the way.

Dr. Kestin: We’ve known each other for many years now and you are amazing. We’ve had some rough times along the way but whenever it came to my eyes, you were there. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to do this book. Thank you for all your support.

Friends: Thank you all for your support. You all have given me ideas and suggestions in the book and I have tried to use them in any way I could.

YOU, the child, who is reading this book and learning about the computer. Always learn as much as
