DEDICATION
For those that were not given the chance to live.
Any country that accepts abortion is not teaching its people to love but to use violence to get what they want.
PREFACE
A dream has no worth until it is actualised just as faith will remain vain if nothing is done.
It is no news that evil exists in our world. It has been in existence long before our arrival and it will keep living till this sinful world comes to an end. Visiting the memory lane of history, the likes of Human sacrifice, Slavery, Holocaust, Terrorism are the nefarious events that have left deep scars on the face of humanity.
However, there is this gravest evil that is more deadly than all the aforementioned types of evil put together — ABORTION.
Yes! I know it doesn’t seem as serious as implied, it doesn’t sound true either, it’s doesn’t seem to be evil at all or rather, not as evil as painted. What makes a superlative evil is based on how cruel, gruesome, deadly and inhumane the act is, isn’t it?
Then, what is Abortion! It is simply the killing of the most innocent, vulnerable and voiceless unborn human beings. Yes! They are unborn, yet human.
It is not just a biblical fact but also scientific that Life begins at conception and as such, location (womb) & size (fetus) should not be made factors that deny humans of their humanity. A human is a human in the womb or in the world because nothing inhuman can become human. Moreover, at a time, we were all fetuses, weren’t we?
However, THE VOICE OF THE VOICELESS is a poetry anthology centered on Life and Abortion, conceived since 2016 with the aim of reaching out to the world about the sanctity of human life especially that of the most innocent and vulnerable humans — THE UNBORN whose lives are endangered daily by the world’s deadliest evil termed ABORTION.
This poetry anthology is a compilation of submissions from life promoting poets from different parts of the world such as Nigeria, India, United Kingdom, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, United States amongst others using powerful words through lines and verses to speak out for those whose voices hushed, rights deprived, hope terminated, humanity denied and life annihilated.
The aim of this book is to unveil the evil behind the act of Abortion, its consequences and also to enlighten our world on the need to preserve, promote and protect the sanctity of human lives until every human irrespective of size (fetus, baby, lad, teen or adult) and location (womb or world) is given the right to life.
This anthology is a mouthpiece of the murdered and hopeful unborn children all over the world.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT
Bringing poets from different parts of the world together to be a voice for the voiceless would not have been possible if the Author of Life has not given us the chance to. Many times I ponder ‘what if I was aborted by my parents?’ and I could not but thank them every day in my heart for the choice they made for the love of Life which has played an immeasurable part to the success of this book.
I am eternally grateful to my brothers, Engr. Olumide, Pharm. Tony & my fiancée Afowowe Damilola for their unending moral, material and financial support to ensure that this book becomes a reality.
My most immense gratitude to every poet at home and abroad that contributed with priceless words in lines and verses to voice out for those who could not speak for themselves. This book would be just a dream without you all. You will not be forgotten!
