    The reasons for divorce may be many. But we can categorize broadly in three major categories, Viz. economic (income, increase of income of wife after marriage, dowry, insolvency etc.), social (habit of drinking, social customs, disparity of social status between husband and wife, change of social status after marriage) and physical (adultery, unhappy physical encounters etc.). The first night is always very important for the newlywed couple. None can predict how the other person will react to any of the movement, both physical and verbal, initiated by one of the partner. In India, mostly the male initiate the first move. If the first move on the first night is not correct from the initiator it may end up with some bad blood between the newlywed couple. Sometimes that blood is enough for the seeding of a divorce or annulment of a marriage.

    Born in a teachers' family in a village of Assam, a province of India, Borah started his journey of writing at a tender age of eleven. He published two novels in Assamese language and other fictional and non-fictional stories in Assamese periodicals during his college days. Then Borah almost stopped his literary activity for more than three decades. In the meantime he became a Gender specialist.However,so far, he has published more than one hundred and sixty five books on this platform in English and one book in Hindi within a span of five years. The books are on different topics like inspiration,romance and love, humour, ghosts, suspense thriller, children etc and those are written both in prose and poetry.Eight English and two Assamese books are also available in printed form. 2nd edition of his first book, 'Random Thoughts' is also in the public domain.

      These reasons of divorce are real, as I gathered from some of the divorcees over the years. I know many of the divorcees personally. As I have changed the names of those divorcees and their social backgrounds, place of works and geographical locations to protect their privacy, the stories become imaginary. Therefore, any resemblance any character in the stories are mere coincidence only.

      Suggestions made in the book may be experimented to avoid divorces by any couple who are in course of collision or already have filed cases for divorce or already have been separated.

      Thanks to my readers and friends and above all my family members for their constant support to write something usual and unusual. I love them all.
