INTRODUCTION
Wire weaving is a basic part of wire jewelry making. It is a vital technique and skill useful for projects that have to do with art, creativity, and wires. Patterns, curls, and directions are essential in wire weaving and must be properly understood to have the best of wire weaving works. Therefore, in the scope of this book, the integral knowledge needed for beginners in the art of wire weaving is provided in simple and clear words with no ambiguity at all. With total belief, this knowledge gives all and sundry the opportunity to make their first jewelry even without close supervision but just by the help of this book. This book covers basic weaves like the Snake Weave, Flame Stitch and other two-wire weaves. Also, various techniques such as coiling, wrapping, weaving, turtle necking to mention but a few, will be discussed. Three practical projects will be taught too with basic knowledge on how to make and install clasps, how to polish and wax the wires, how to splice and alongside incorporate beads into your designs. Helpful tips and links for better research and study are provided in the book with a chart on metric conversion. This book is amazingly perfect for beginners and can be used by experts too. It has been designed in a practical way; get the equipment needed and make your first wire weavings.

DEFINITION OF TERMS
Weaving wire: Otherwise called warp wire/ adds-on wire. It is used to make the necessary movement when necessary. In most times it's very flexible and soft for wrapping around the base wire.
Base wire: This is the foundation of any wire works. It is very strong to withstand the rigorous movement of the warp wire. It is flexible but strong. It determines the shape and structure of the whole jewelry.

Two wire weaves
These two wire weaves are basic weaving styles and are also referred to as wraparounds.
This is to describe how the base wires are held together by wrapping weaving wires around them. Let’s consider two weaves that employ the use of two wires.
Weave 1: The basic figure eight weave
For this weave, you will need two base wires (16, 18 or 20 gauge) with a particular length, which depends on how big your project is and a smaller gauge, though longer wire for wrapping.
