      Now you can officially say someone wrote a book especially for you.

      THE RAPIHI

      On the day Rapihi was finally allowed to go on an adventure, he met The Human and Paca.

      Or rather, it ought to be said that he had to meet The Human and Paca in order to go on an adventure.

      That was also the day The Human and Paca benevolently kidnapped him from the only home he had ever known. But could it really be called kidnapping if he had gone willingly? He had almost begged to be taken along. (Or that was what The Human would have countered. He was a prosecutor – from what Rapihi could gather, that was like a lawyer of some sort. They were good at making everything sound like the truth.)

      Then again, it could have been Stockholm Syndrome that led Rapihi to think of the events in that way. Rapihi had heard of the Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm was in Sweden, after all. And they were in a certain Swedish furniture store when all of it happened.

      Rapihi cocks his head; shakes it. He is getting confused. He waggles his red, forked tongue. The story is getting ahead of itself.

      I will start at the beginning.

      THE BEGINNING

      Rapihi had been born into a big family.
