Introduction
Have you ever wanted to learn a new language but don’t do it because you think it will be hard and take long? Most people see language learning as a scaring or daunting activity, especially adults who have probably tried to while in school and failed.
Through this book we will teach you how to speak Spanish through interactive dialogues; we will use these dialogues as the basis of your language lesson and as the source of your vocabulary.
The following book is a practical and comprehensive guide to learning conversational Spanish. The focus of this book is tourism and its target audience are people who speak little or no Spanish.
This book consists of 3 units, each of them focus on a different topic so learning Spanish will be easy and fun. Their level of difficulty will increase from unit to unit, but the structure of the book will be the same. All of the units contain lessons. These lessons will be composed by an overview, a dialogue, a review and a vocabulary lesson.
Each lesson will begin with a short introduction that will explain the usefulness and cultural significance of the lesson as well as to give you context on how to use it with examples of interactions.
Following the introduction there will be a dialogue and the core of the lesson called review; at the end we will have a vocabulary review, in which we will go over the words and their meaning and repeat the learned phrases.
We understand that many adult learners find language learning difficult because they cannot pronounce certain words correctly. This is why this audiobook comes with a pronunciation section, in which we will once again go over the expressions learned and practice the pronunciation of the most difficult words, so you can be sure you sound like a fluent speaker.
Through this book we hope you learn how to have basic interactions in Spanish and have a wonderful and immersive tourism experience.
As the lesssons go by, you may feel this book is a little bit repetitive, but the trick to language learning lies in repetition. As a matter of fact, expert linguists have stated that in order to learn something you have to listen and repeat it at least 7 times.
This book will make you repeat new words and phrases several times, it will also give you interaction exercises, so you can practice the language. It is important to note that we recommend you listen to this book more than once, so you will not only learn the vocabulary but start to assimilate the language.
