2 RIVERSIDE QUAY

THE DRIVING IDEA BEHIND THIS PROJECT WAS TO PROVIDE PwC WITH A FLEXIBLE AND AGILE WORKPLACE OF THE FUTURE, WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS OUT OVER THE CITY AND THE YARRA RIVER.

Architect’s statement – Craig Baudin, director, Fender Katsalidis

How was Fender Katsalidis chosen for the project?

Fender Katsalidis had previously delivered an office building for News Corporation in Adelaide in partnership with EGO Group, a firm of Sydney interior designers with design expertise in new thinking around agile and flexible workspace. When EGO Group was commissioned to design the interiors for PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers), the anchor tenant on 2 Riverside Quay, Fender Katsalidis was chosen as base building architect on the basis of this previous partnership and working relationship.
