Introduction
I am a mirror of his fast paced exciting ever changing life, a collection of wise short realities, I’m an easy reading to help you discover yourself and the world around you. I talk about the interactions we live in our daily lives, interactions with ourselves, our surrounding and with life itself.
My writer is world traveler, his interactions with different cultures and mindsets were a major push that helped him bring me to life. Since his childhood, life moved him from a country to another. He mastered farewells and new beginnings. Him and I, learned how to look at life from a different perspective, his interactions allowed him to understand me and our role.
I'm written with an open mind, made with so much love and with rays of light. My birth took place after research, interviews, debates and countless conversations with highly educated people, counselors, artists, writers and people who already see the truth that I am about to share with you.
Thank you for picking me up, thank you for taking me home, we will have a very special relation, I already know this.
When our interaction comes to an end, please don't put me on a shelf or inside a drawer, I don't like being lonely, I enjoy the eyes that look at me, share me with a friend, a loved one or pass me on to a stranger that might need my advice. If you get attached you can keep me, but allow me to always see those beautiful eyes.
Changing your life
I intentionally decided to create a black and grey cover, I didn't want my book to scream happiness while it's sitting on a shelf in some library or scream happiness through the monitors of online shoppers. I wanted the happiness to come from within. The black and grey cover was the last black and grey you will ever see. Today is the day of change, it's the day you start your new journey. Today is the first day, of your new life, the one that you will be choosing for yourself.
I will hold your hand and walk with you day by day, hour by hour until you are ready to see for yourself. This book will improve your sight, you will be able to see the real world as it is. It will introduce you to yourself, you will finally know who you are, this book will bring you change.
Today is when you start changing your world!
Realization
It all started with an encounter of the mirror me with an opposite gender. We meet. We complete each other’s words in another world. People, The ones who drift through creating waves at an intense impact at times and ghostly at most of times. Tales of silhouettes of time and form – to result in creating my life….
And yours,
About
It is not about someone on the other side of the world, neither someone else on the other end. It is not about the number of tears that dropped and not about all the endless smiles.
It is not about us and not about this place or that time. It does not start here and it does not end today. It is not about politics, art nor religion. It is not about mistakes neither about success.
It is a long trip filled with the little journeys and the best things in life that cannot be measured, priced and or labeled. The best things in life that are not bought or given.
It’s about the best things in life that are found through a fling with life.
Memory
One of the oldest memories I carry from childhood is a face of an ugly person mocking me. I was about 4, feeling very sick on a cold winter night! My parents had the chimney fire on, my father sat me next to him on an old couch and tried to comfort me.
I looked over the chimney fire and spotted a face, staring at me, I felt smaller than what I actually was, I felt a tease, I felt helpless, unable, and scared. I was sick, I had a fever, not a disease or a serious sickness, just a little kid not feeling good on a cold school winter night.
Dad, make it stop
, I asked my father to ask the person to leave, I'm sure after hearing me he thought the fever is talking to him. I was comforted all night by both of my parents, but deep inside my head I knew someone was there and that someone made me feel even worse than my childish sickness.
I saw the same face multiple times during my childhood, I felt I was followed by something scary, every time I saw it, it mocked me, I saw it when I was upset, when I failed a test, or when I wasn't allowed things I wanted. I saw the face when any of my parents got sick, or when I lost a game against any of my friends, or when I was in the dark alone. I saw the face before a difficult exam, before any review with my teachers, and sometimes I saw the face before being challenged or during one of my exciting scary adventures that I planned with the other kids I played with.
I moved, grew up, my perspective towards things and people changed, one thing would always follow me and never changed was the same ugly face. I tried to communicate with it, but it had only one goal, to make me feel as bad as possible, as down as possible and as scared as possible! It didn't want peace, it was only aiming to scare me as much as it could.
I ran away, I needed saving
Although many people I know come to me most of the time for advice and inspiration, only few who really know me also know that I too was running. I ran away for years from fear I didn't know and feelings
