Baked nectarines with blackberries

Savour summer with this simple lo-cal dessert

SERVES 4 Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C). Halve and stone 4 ripe nectarines or peaches and place them in a small, shallow ovenproof dish or baking pan, cut-side up. Sprinkle over 6 tbsp cold water. Scatter over 150g fresh or frozen blackberries, (raspberries work fine if you don’t have blackberries) and 2 tbsp flaked almonds. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
