s borrowed from the European system of school organization. It separates the students into grades by chronological age. It takes 12 grades for the students to finish the schooling process. If they do not meet minimum requirements for a particular grade they may be asked to repeat the year. The first until fifth or sixth grade is classified in primary grades and referred as elementary school. It may also provide kindergarten as the preparation of the first grade. The problem in this grade is the differences in academic readiness on the part of the learners. Some children may be ready for an education since they were 4 or 5 years, but maybe other children are not socially, mentally or even physically ready to start their education even when they are already 6 years old. The next grade is intermediate grades or the junior high school. It begin at sixth or seventh grade and offer three years of instruction. At this level the teachers may provide subject-based classes similar to those offered in high school. During this grade there will be a maturity differences between boys and girls. The final grade is secondary grades or high school. It begins at grade nine or ten. The Classes are subject based and thought by subject specialists. If the students success this grade they will be eligible for a secondary school or high school diploma. The last problem that occur in this educational system is the boredom, poor self-concept and high dropout rates from the students who unable to meet the minimum requirements for a particular grade. The education board of the United States should find a way out of these problems before it cause a great impact to the system. Independent Writing There are many great leaders in the world.
