The purpose of conducting this study is to evaluate the language usage in Facebook, Twitter and mobile phone among

UTAR students. The research will show the efficiency of the usage of language among the Utar student in terms of communication where we evaluate their proficiency in various language area like grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation. We also would like to evaluate the impact of the language used in the social media and mobile phone to the language used in everyday communication of the Utar student. Other than that the research also would identify whether the students practice the language learn or thought in Utar when the use the social network sites and mobile phone. The research also was conducted to identify the language problem faced by Utar students when communicating using the social network sites and mobile phone. The research also would determine whether the language usage in social networking sites and mobile has helping the students to enhance their language proficiency.
