Introduction
Community farming is a system where farmers voluntarily come together, pull their resources in buying inputs, using resources like land, water and market the produce and divide the earnings. Community farming is essentially The group of farmers is co-operated with one co-operative society. Co-operative society will contract with any one of trader and all the members will deliver the produce to the common trader. This could be at a pre agreed price. The co-operative society or trader can provide inputs like hybrid seeds, fertilizers etc.

Extension services provided by common trader. Common management - saves water, energy, time, labor, money etc. Improves yield and quality of produce. Assured market and rate for produce. Farmers free to sell at higher prices than minimum support price i.e. may bond in one-sided contract.
