These 35 year toll road concessions are to be delivered as Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with subsidy, projects under the Government's initiative to enhance investment in badly needed infrastructure. The concession rights are held by two SPVs, namely: PT Solo Ngawi Jaya (SNJ) and PT Ngawi Kertosono Jaya (NKJ). On 28 June 2011, SNJ and NKJ signed the Concession Agreement (Perjanjian Pengusahaan Jalan ToljPPJT) with BPJT. Location & Description: SNJ - Solo-Mantigan-Ngawi, is to be 90.10 km long. The western end (Solo) joins to the end of the Semarang-Solo toll road to be built by the Indonesian listed toll road entity Jasa Marga. SNJ has 6 interchanges, serving major towns adjacent to the alignment. NKJ - Ngawi-Kertosono, is to be 87.02 km long. It commences at the eastern termination of SNJ and ends near Kertosono where it connects with a further stage of the Trans-Java toll road which is already under construction. NKJ has 4 interchanges. Both toll road sections will have a design speed of 120km/hr and initially 2 lanes each way, with provision for widening when required.
