Introduction to Thiess Indonesia's Toll Road Companies:
PT Thiess Contractors Indonesia (TCI) is the investor in two toll road concessions on the Trans
Java Toll Road (Trans Java) namely Solo - Mantingan - Ngawi and Ngawi ..:. Kertosono. These 35
year toll road concessions are to be delivered as Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with subsidy,
projects under the Government's initiative to enhance investment in badly needed infrastructure.
The concession rights are held by two SPVs, namely:
PT Solo Ngawi Jaya (SNJ) and
PT Ngawi Kertosono Jaya (NKJ).
On 28 June 2011, SNJ and NKJ signed the Concession Agreement (Perjanjian Pengusahaan Jalan
ToljPPJT) with BPJT.
The Project:
The Trans Java consists of 11 Concessions, each of which consists of a number of Sections.

Location & Description:
SNJ - Solo-Mantigan-Ngawi, is to be 90.10 km long. The western end (Solo) joins to the end of
the Semarang-Solo toll road to be built by the Indonesian listed toll road entity Jasa Marga.
SNJ has 6 interchanges, serving major towns adjacent to the alignment.
NKJ - Ngawi-Kertosono, is to be 87.02 km long. It commences at the eastern termination of
SNJ and ends near Kertosono where it connects with a further stage of the Trans-Java toll
road which is already under construction. NKJ has 4 interchanges.
Both toll road sections will have a design speed of 120km/hr and initially 2 lanes each way, with
provision for widening when required.

Government Subsidy:
The Government has agreed to implement a subsidy by independently constructing specific
portions of the toll roads, but with the concession holder then able to levy the toll on the total
length.

Outer Ring Road II (JORRII), namely Serpong - Cinere. This 35 year toll road concession is to be
delivered as Public-Private-Partnership (PPP), under the Government's initiative to enhance
investment in badly needed infrastructure.
The concession rights are held by a SPY, namely PT Cinere Serpong Jaya (CSJ) .
On 28 June 2011, CSJ signed the Concession Agreement (Perjanjian Pengusahaan Jalan ToljPPJT)
with BPJT.

The JORRII consists of 5 Concessions, each of which consists of a number of Sections.

Location & Description:
The CSJ concession comprises one of the south western sections. The toll road is to be 10 km long,
consisting of 3 lanes in each direction with a mixture of elevated structure and on grade
construction, with one intermediate interchange. The road will have a design speed of 100km/h
and will use a closed, manual tolling system at each interchange.
CSJ is a single section of JORRII as shown in the map below:
