Statement of the problem

The study aims to investigate the effect of averrhoa bilimbi extract to extend the shelf life of a mango fruit (Mangifera indica). Specifically, this research intends to answer the following:

1. Determine the efficiency of averrhoa bilimbi extract in terms of the mean zone of inhabitation in in vitro testing. 2. Determine whether the averrhoa bilimbi extract can increase the shelf life of mango fruit (Mangifera indica). 3. Determine how long can the averrhoa bilimbi extract extend the shelf life of mango fruit (Mangifera indica).
