SUBJECT: - SCHOLARSHIPS UNDER THE OMANI CULTURAL AND SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION PROGRAMME FOR SESSION 2012-13. Government of Oman has offered scholarships to the Pakistani students under Omani Cultural and Scientific Cooperation Programme for session 2012-13, in different educational fields in higher education. The last date for receipt of applications are 15th August, 2012, on the following address. The terms and conductions for the scholarships are as under: The student will be given Omani Riyal. 200 (equal to US$ 518/-) per month for the expense of his/her accommodation, transport and food. A return ticket will be given to the students once a year. In case of any illness the students will be given medical treatment in the government Hospital which will be free of cost. The medical treatment will not cover the accident cases. Degree awarded outside from Oman should be translated into English and Arabic and also amplification the percentage of the marks. Degree should be duly verified by the Concern University as well as Higher Education Commission, Islamabad. 2. The interested candidates are hereby advised to submit their applications upto 15-08-2012 positively, with the condition that their will be no financial involvement on part of Ministry of IPC/ Government of Pakistan.
