    In preparation for Music Technology recording coursework you are expected to make a multi track using at least 8 tracks. Your recording should be 2-4 mins long and must consist of the following instruments: Drum kit Bass Acoustic and/or electric guitar Vocals One other acoustic or percussion instrument.

    You can record a cover version or an original song (although you must record a cover version for the actual Task 1B). Although this task does not constitute a piece of coursework, it will form a vital part of your preparation for Task 1B and give you an opportunity to develop your recording and mixing approaches and techniques. The Controlled Assessed Hours for the actual Task 1B will begin after Christmas so make sure you undertake this preparation task carefully and promptly.
