Recommendations:

The recommendations given below are not decisions; rather they are only suggestions to improve the customers service in order to fulfill the customers satisfaction so that customers give more preference UCBL. The recommendations are given below:

There is no certain direction in the bank where to go to open an account. There should be proper signage with the derection. The attitude of the front desk officers are not good enough, they should have proper training. More skilled and self-motivated people especially business graduates with skills of financial management and investment analysis should be recruited. The UCBL should focus on proper monitoring & follow up the activities of the general banking facilities. Bank arrangement should be more organized. There should be a help desk where customers can get information whatever they want. There should be labeling each and every desk, which will help the customers to identify There should me more online information of opening a bank account. Employees should more flexible with the customer, and have patience when a customer come. Invest on UCBL products should be easy, and flexible. UCBL should focus on proper supervision cash inflow & outflow. United Commercial Bank should conduct strong marketing innovation activities to increase business inside & outside Bangladesh. The UCBL also should introduce fully online banking facility for staying in the competitive market. There must be a better corporation among the employees. Human resources, in branch, are not equipped with adequate banking knowledge. Majority of the human resources is the lack of basic knowledge regarding money, banking finance and accounting. Without proper knowledge in these subjects, efficiency cannot be optimized.

Technological Skills should be developed UCBL should establish its own networking system between its branches so that they can exchange their information faster and efficiently. New investment sector is booming rapidly. UCBL should identified those untapped areas of business and invest in those sector such as Gas plant, condensed milk project, ship breaking etc. It is noted that delay in service is one of the problems faced by the clients. Attempts should be made to straighten the banking procedure. Proper incentive system should be introduced to motivate bank employees for rendering better services.
