He was born on 5th December 1891.

Where did Alexander Live?

He was born and lived in st. petersburg, Moscow, Russia.

Where did he study?

He began studies under Nikolai Feshin and Georgii Medvedev at the Kazan School of Art.

 He sadly died December 3rd, 1956, aged 64 in Moscow.

Photo analysis This photograph is a black and white film shot by Rodchenko (1891-1956). There is a woman in underwear with her head tilted, showing confusion at men in underwear lying down at the side of a pool. The scene is a murky pool on the top of a tall building in a poor/destroyed town/city. The angle is a behind view with the camera tilted to the right to show more confusion and make the viewer think and move their head to see and understand the image.
