First Grade News

November 26-30, 2012

What were learning
Our Bible stories for this week are The Death of John the Baptist and The Woman in Simons House. We will be reading Yes, We Want Some Too! and Cat Traps in our basal reading books. We are continuing our work with the ch digraph. In math we will be working on even numbers, counting money, and using a number chart. Singular and plural nouns also will be covered this week.

November book orders are due November 27th. Please fill out Field Trip form and return it by Thursday, December 6th. Our Scholastic Book Fair is this week! You may purchase books before and after school. The Apostles Parent-Teacher Community meeting will be this Tuesday at 7:00. Come bring your family and friends to Christmas for Kids on December 1st to celebrate our Saviors birth!
