Marian Stauder MLE Reflection Results: Baseline showed that J made almost no requests for help.

Probe data and instructional data both show a fairly increasing trend, but the most recent probe results where below the aimline. Discussion: This program as definitely effective in the sense that J made improvement, and while she is approaching mastery, her recent performance is much lower than typical. This is possibly a result of her long absence from school as a result of her mothers death. The way I initially envisioned the program did not include a location, and while the original instruction and assessment took place during Js exercise time (which involved a transfer into and out of her chair), I started including getting on the bus and other activities in Js day where asking for help was a part of the activity. While Js absence from school was definitely outside of my control, teaching in order to promote Js generalizing asking for help skills to all daily activities definitely a wise move. If I could have done anything differently, I would have tried to incorporate instruction across all of Js day to maximize the instructional time.
