We believe that the city will once again establish itself in American society as the engine for innovation and economic development, as a pinnacle of a high quality of life and as a cost and environmentally efficient place to live and work. Our central goal is to make Trenton a leading example of the next great American city. The citizens of Trenton will assert their voice in the development of a strategy to achieve this lofty goal in the long term and to make measurable progress in the short term. To do this we will need to build consensus on city-wide goals for: Crime Reduction Population Growth School Achievement Increase in average income Economic Growth (increase ratable and revenues)

Rethink our Economic Development and Inspections Create a strategic budget with citizen priorities Rework our tax structure to reward investment Present a complete funding proposal to the State
