The font used is called Immortal. It was designed by Graham Meade & Apostrophic Labs. There is not much information past that it was added to font sites around 2006 and last updated in 2010. The original website for apostrophic labs does not exist anymore. The font attracted me because it has a playful yet adventurous character. When I saw the font it was something that I imagined being in a cartoon that has a lot of adventurous and medieval aspects to it. The intended audience are individuals who watch the show Adventure Time! This is a cartoon that is geared toward young adults and I wanted to bring in as much character and quirkiness from the show into the poster. The reason I put quotes was to give a sense of the things the character has said. The colors help to match the color and playfulness that is apart of the show.
