FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

On Thursday, February 19, 2009 members of the New York State Police Bureau of
Criminal Investigation at Loudonville, along with members of the NYSP Computer
Crimes Unit and the Albany County Sheriffs Department Airport Detail arrested
MICHAEL D. PARKS , 21 years of age, of Casper, Wyoming for Disseminating
Indecent Material to a Minor in the 1st degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Since August 2008, Parks had been communicating by way of his personal computer
with a 16 year old female from Saratoga County. On Thursday February 19, 2009, Parks
traveled from his home in Casper, Wyoming to Colonie, New York for the purposes of
meeting the 16 year old female and engaging in sexual contact with her. Parks was
arrested as he exited the Albany County Airport. Parks was arraigned before Town of
Greenfield Justice Deborah Hopkins who remanded Parks to the Saratoga County Jail
in lieu of 20,000 dollars bail.
