Vision - My backgrounds in landscape design, urban forestry, and landscape architecture have provided me with a unique set of skills and understanding. My vision is to build upon this foundation as I work with the varied landscapes of our world. AutoCAD, LandFX, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Sketchup, Dynascape Design, Dynascape Color, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Arc GIS, Captivate, Landscape Construction/ Installation, Tree Climbing/Arboriculture, Hand Rendering, Plant Knowledge Colorado Center for Community Delevopment | Graduate Assistant | Denver, Colorado Participated in the Active Schools Active Minds Project in partner with Tri-County Health. Part of a design team that worked with the Brighton School District focusing on design to promote activity and fight childhood obesity.

University at Colorado Denver | Teaching Assistant | Denver, Colorado Assisted with Professor Lori Catalano in her plants in design class. I was actively engaged with the students and provided assistance with plant identification. Davey Tree Experts | Plant Healthcare Technician | Englewood, Colorado Inspected and treated plant material at residential and commercial properties around the Denver area for insects and diseases. Purdue University | Teaching Assistant | West Lafayette, Indiana Assisted Dr. Mike Dana in 2010 with teaching AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Dynascape. Assisted Dr. Matt Jenks in 2008 teaching an identification of woody plants class. For both jobs I gave lectures and assisted students with assignments. Developed a few short screen capture Photoshop tutorials using Adobe Captivate . Bellingers Professional Grounds Maintenance | Landscape and Tree Crew Member | Lafayette, Indiana Worked on landscape and tree crews over the course of two consecutive summers. Gained valuable experience and skills including related machinery and project management. Millers Tree Farm | Landscape and Nursery Crew Member | Idaville, Indiana General nursery work that included pruning and caring for plants, and operating various related equipment. Also installed several landscape projects.
