How to Access Mergent Online in the Virtual Library

Mergent Online is a database provided by FISOnline. It contains more than

10,000 U.S. companies and international companies’ financial information.

To access information from Mergent Online, please follow the directions below:
1. Connect to the Internet
2. At the address bar type: http://vl.bryantstratton.edu
3. On the grey bar, click login

4. For Username & Password information to access online materials, please

contact your campus librarian.

5. On the grey bar, point to Research Databases, select and click Mergent Online

6. You will see a webpage as below

7. Click on Mergent Online

9. If you want to find information about a company, such as Wal-Mart, at the

search box, type Wal-Mart as the keyword for your search, and click search
(you can also select advanced search)
10. You can find information about the company, such as the company business
summary, company history, news, competitors, website and mission etc.
