    Safe and reliable cable carriers for highly dynamic applications. Energy chain specialist igus UK has developed the cost effective E4.80 universal energy chain for highly dynamic applications. Designed especially for very high speeds, long travels and high fill weights, it safely and reliably carries energy cables and hoses, increasing their lifespan by up to four times. The E4.80 system has many advantages that set it apart from standard e-chains. Not only does it have snap open cross bars that can be opened on both sides, the inner/outer-links run straight through the system and it includes an integrated brake that reduces operational noise levels. The specially designed outer links set the camber allowing assembly without pretension to be carried out for tight space requirements. It also has a tongue and groove design which interlocks the chain links and ensures good torsion resistance and high stability. The E4.80 is available in inner widths of 50mm to 600mm and with bending radii of 150mm to 1000mm. Like all igus products, this cable carrier is made from special tribo-optimised plastic which is resistant to wear and abrasion, therefore providing a long service life.
