On August 23, 2008, at approximately 1150 PM, Vallejo Police

Department Officers responded to a call of a shooting that was
reported to have just occurred in the street near 125 Power Drive.
Officers determined that the crime began in an apartment in the
complex at 1333 North Camino Alto, where numerous victims and
witnesses were present.

Two armed suspects forced their way into an apartment with the
intent of robbing the occupants. A struggle took place, and the
suspects fired shots inside the apartment. The occupants of the
apartment began to flee and additional shots were fired as the
suspects chased 34 year old victim August McCoy. Victim McCoy
was found laying in the street and was pronounced deceased at the
scene.

Detectives have been able to identify several cooperative witnesses

and victims who have worked to produce the attached sketches.
Detectives and the victim’s family are asking for help in identifying
the suspects.

5-8 or less, medium build, oily complexion. 10 to 6-0. Skinny. Had twisty or dreadlock style hair.
