2. Credits The course is worth 4 credits. 3. Goals The main objective of this capstone design course is to provide students with theoretical background and practical experience in advanced digital system design techniques as well as digital circuit construction, testing and debugging. The course provides comprehensive in-depth coverage of advanced digital design principles and practice, introduces system design process and steps while emphasizing strong written and oral communications skills. 4. The capstone project will give the students significant freedom to select their own topic, and will be evaluated once during the course and once at the end. The research topic must be of current interest and is of the students choosing.

7. Duration The lectures will be given from 13 March to 28 March 2013. The midterm exam demonstration will be during the week of 25 March 2013.
