Flapjack Soft margarine/butter Golden Syrup Brown sugar Rolled oats Plain flour Bicarb of Soda 150g 150g

175g 200g 100g 1 tsp 300g 300g 350g 400g 200g 2tsp

Method 1. Preheat the oven to 160C and grease and line a shallow baking tray 18cm x 28cm x 1cm 2. Place margarine, syrup and sugar in a large pan and gently heat. 3. Stir from time to time until the sugar has melted. 4. Stir in the oats, flour and bicarb and press into the tin. 5. Bake for about 20-30 minutes until golden. 6. Cool slightly before cutting into pieces. 7. Leave to cool completely before removing from the tin.
