Assignments were true to the content of the course. I gained a lot from doing the assignments and observation hours required for the course. Enjoyed the class! Dr. Martin was fun to learn from! Great class! I truly enjoyed Dr.Martin's class. She is a wonderfule education teacher. She takes her teaching very serious and makes every single student feel special. I very much enjoyed the class and I as a student recieved a lot from the class. The only thing I have to say is that the teacher was not very organized when it came to assignments and it kind of made you worried because you never know your grade and you never really know when something is due.
06/18/2012 Class Climate evaluation Page 4
I wish we had deadlines on the assignments instead of just handing them out and saying due in two or three weeks. If the class was a three day class it would be more beneficial because sitting in there for that long was hard and everyone had trouble paying attention after a certain point. Mrs. Martin, it has been a priviledge to have had Mrs. Martin as a teacher, and I look forward to having her again in the future. I have learned more about the reading process than I ever knew existed. Mrs. Martin allows us to be ourselves, and she has this thing about her that makes me feel so comfortable around her. She lets us know that she has been in our shoes and she understands the nerves and butterfly feelings that we experience when teaching a lesson that we will get through it the more we do it! It has been great having her as a teacher. This was a very good class. I enjoyed it very much. She was slightly unorganized towards the end of the semester but she still had good lectures and the assignments for very beneficial to the course. she is very nice, and a good teacher. Needs to improve on giving students guidance and give more due dates and deadlines for assignments.
