After we wrote down the definitions, I asked them to give me some examples
and read the definitions for 1 or 2 minutes, then I erased the board and I wrote
some examples.
Ss had to written down the examples in their notebooks and try to answer them
by themselves.
After they have finished the activity in their notebooks, they had to come to the
front and paste the correct the word in the correct example.
We were asking “Is that correct?” and they help each other with the answers.
My Ss were very active and everyone gets involve during the activity, they really
enjoy and didn’t feel pressure doing it, we created a nice environment.
I would definitely do it again. My Ss took the activity more like a game, I think
that, when students learn with no pressure they do their best, they need to feel
comfortable in the class, and I also think that the teacher plays a great roll in
this.
