Goldstars shine Supreme

With tosses , cheers and stunts , perfectly showed by the shining PUPSMB Goldstars Pep Squad, crowned as the 4 th runner up in the 2012 PUP CHEERDANCE COMPETITION, with jamped packed actions held at PUP Sta. Mesa Gymnasium together with the celebration of the 108 th Founding Anniversary of PUP, September 21, 2012. Extreme stunts and nerve wrecking tosses, showed by the Goldstars to their rivals, composing of 30 members together with their team captain, the senior member of the squad, Sharmaine Dela Cruz, fighting for triumph to win. Goldstars representing the Cluster 13: composed of Bataan, Cabiao, Pulilan and Sta. Maria. Anime Theme last year, now theyre back doing the I LOVE PHILIPPINES theme. Doing the perfectly executed routine, Goldstars impressed not only their coach, Arman D.C Santos, but also the spectators got wild in the edge of their seats. In the performance ground, Goldstars started their routine with a cheer yelling, PUP GO! SMB CHEER! Goldstars lets go fight , lets go cheer and win. As the music runs, Goldstars started death defying tosses and stunts, well executed cart wheels, unbreakable pyramids, highperfectly executed liberty stunts, and awesome gymnastic skills that made the shivering spectators uneasy and rattled into noise. Jiving themselves as they dance their final dance. And as the music stops, Goldstars stroke their killer pose. CLL & CA crowned as the champion, second , the Cluster 12 (PUP San Juan, Quezon City, Taguig, and Paraaque), third composed of COC, CHK, LHS, COED, fourth CB and CAFA, and lastly the Cluster 13 composed of PUP Bataan, Cabiao, Pulilan and Sta.Maria. Disappointment yes we are disappointed not only the Goldstars but also the other teams. We know that we followed the guidelines of the competion, we showed them extreme stunts, some squads did not follow the rules, so in result , .. disappointment, said Coach Arman .
