INSTRUCTIONS TO ASSEMBLE AND ADJUST THE CYLINDER HEAD GASKET INSTRUOES PELA MONTAGEM E AJUSTAMENTO DA JUNTA DE CABEOTE
1- Quitar la suciedad sobre el plano de la tapa de cilindros, no daando las tapas de aluminio. Remover la grasitud sobrante, desengrasando con un solvente adecuado. 1- Remove the dirt from the cylinder head without damaging the aluminum parts. Remove the excess of grease using an appropriate solvent. 1- Remova a sujeira do cabeote sem danificar as peas de alumnio. Remova o excesso de graxa usando um solvente apropriado. 2- Pasar un macho roscado por los alojamientos de los tornillos en el block y aspirar con una jeringa toda la suciedad, agua o aceite que pueda hallarse en el fondo de los orificios, ya que al ajustar el tornillo esto hara de cuerpo slido ocasionando una falsa lectura con su consiguiente perjuicio (junta floja.) 2- Re-pass the lodgings of the screws at the block with an appropriated tool, and aspire with a syringe the oil or water that may be at the bottom of the holes; if any of these products remain, they could act as a solid body and give a false reading (producing serious problems like a loose cylinder head gasket). 2- Re-passe os alojamentos dos parafusos no bloco com uma ferramenta apropriada, e aspire com uma seringa o leo ou a gua que podem estar na parte inferior dos furos; se algum destesprodutos permanecem, poderiam actuar como um corpo slido e dar uma leitura falsa (que produz problemas graves como uma junta de cabeote frouxa). 3- Comprobar la planitud del block y la tapa en el plano de la junta. 3- Check the block flatness and the lid in the gasket plane. 3- Verificar a superficie do bloco e da tampa no plano da junta. 4- Comprobar que la junta seleccionada sea la correcta. 4- Verify the chosen gasket is the correct one 4- Verificar que a junta escolhida seja a junta apropriada. 5- No aplicar ningn producto sellante sobre la tapa de cilindros (adhesivos, sellador, etc.) Las juntas Ciccarelli poseen cordn de serigrafa ubicados en zonas especificas que brindan una mayor fuerza de cierre. Adems cuentan con recubrimientos superficiales con propiedades antiadherentes. (Silicona, barniz, pintura). 5- Do not apply any sealant product over the surface of the cylinder head (adhesive, sealant). Ciccarelli's cylinder head gaskets have a silicon cordon place at the specifics zones offering a bigger closing force. They also have a superficial coating with anti adhesives properties (silicone, varnish, paint) 5- No aplicar nenhum produto de vedao no cabeote (adesivo, selador). As juntas de cabeote Ciccarelli tm cordo de serigrafia nas zonas especificas que oferecem uma maior fora de fechamento. Alem disto, tem um recobrimento na superfcie com propriedades anti-aderentes (silicone, verniz, pintura). 6- En los casos de tapa de cilindros con apriete angular es imprescindible utilizar tornillos nuevos al montar la junta. 6- In case of cylinder lid with angular tightening, it is essential to use new screws when assembling the gasket. 6- Nos casos de juntas de cabeote com ajustamento angular imprescindvel usar parafusos novos na montagem da junta. 7- Engrasar los tornillos en la rosca, debajo de la cabeza y/o arandelas. 7- Slightly grease screws in the thread, under their head, and/or washers. 7- Lubrificar os parafusos na rosca, debaixo a cabea e/ou arruela. 8- Ajustar los tornillos siguiendo el orden y secuencia indicados en el diagrama de apriete . Para las tapas de cilindro de aluminio, debido a su alta dilatacin trmica, el ajuste debe realizarse en fro. En caso de tapas de cilindros de fundicin, pueden ajustarse tanto en fro como en caliente. 8- Tighten screw following the order and sequence indicated in the diagram. For the aluminium cylinder lid, due to its high thermal expansion, the adjustment must be done when cold. In case of casting cylinder lids, they can be either hot or cold adjusted. 8- Ajustar os parafusos seguindo o ordem e a seqncia indicada no diagrama de ajuste (pagina 2-3).Pelos cabeotes de alumnio, por sua alta dilatao trmica, o ajuste tem que se realizar em frio. Nos casos cabeotes de fundio, podem se ajustar em frio ou em quente.
