This list contains all latest Nikkor and Zeiss lenses with the sharpest apertures at
specific focal lengths. It is NORMAL for lenses to be slightly soft at the highest
aperture (lowest /number) due to chromatic aberration (hot pink and baby blue color
fringing, which results in soft images that is caused by fringing halos). It is NORMAL
for lenses to lose sharpness at the lowest apertures (highest /number) due to lens
diffraction (where the lens suffers from too much sharpness that causes smeary images).
Using sharpening and chromatic aberration reduction tools while post processing the
images will NOT recover the loss of details.
