Services provided mobile phones and is becoming a trend in society today is SMS (Short Message Service) or short message service. Disease ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat) is one of the diseases that often found in the community. ENT examination should be unity because three interconnected. If there is one part of the organ is impaired, the other organs will be affected. This research tries to build software for the early diagnosis of disease ENT-based SMS & Web based expert systems. Expert system is a system that seeks to adopt human knowledge into computer so that the computer can solve the problem as was done by experts. As for the methods of an expert system is the method of Certainty Factor. From the research conducted it can be concluded that the expert system can ENT used to diagnose diseases based on SMS. System can be used community to obtain the diagnosis of disease based on symptoms ENT given. Keywords: Expert System, ENT, SMS, Web. ABSTRAK Telepon seluler (ponsel) merupakan salah satu hasil dari berkembangnya teknologi komunikasi saat ini. Layanan yang disediakan ponsel dan sedang menjadi trend di masyarakat saat ini adalah SMS (Short Message Service) atau layanan pesan singkat. Penyakit THT (Telinga, Hidung, Tengorok) merupakan salah satu jenis penyakit yang sering ditemukan pada masyarakat. Pemeriksaan THT harus menjadi kesatuan karena ketiganya saling berhubungan. Bila ada satu bagian dari organ tersebut terganggu, maka organ lainnya akan terimbas. Penelitian ini mencoba membangun perangkat lunak untuk diagnosis awal penyakit THT berbasis SMS & Web dengan berdasarkan sistem pakar (expert system). Sistem pakar (expert system) adalah sistem yang berusaha mengadopsi pengetahuan manusia ke komputer, agar komputer dapat menyelesaikan masalah seperti yang biasa dilakukan oleh para ahli. Adapun metode sistem pakar yang digunakan adalah metode Certainty Factor (Faktor Kepastian). Dari penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sistem Pakar dapat digunakan untuk mendiagnosa penyakit THT berbasis SMS. Sstem ini dapat digunakan masyarakat untuk memperoleh hasil diagnosa penyakit THT berdasarkan gejala yang diberikan. Kata kunci : Sistem Pakar, THT, SMS, Web.
