STR2 CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS 2008-2009

Clean up lockers and work areas used.

Return glassware, equipment and Research manuals to

Mr. Jun Samson.

Submit three (3) printed copies and one (1) electronic copy of APPROVED
(i.e. edited) final paper
(Note: Your teacher has the prerogative to reject bound copies that have not been
approved for binding.)

Printed Copies:
 Use short, white bond paper (8.5” x 11”); Continuous forms not
acceptable
 Include colored pictures & graphs (if applicable)
 Include INK-SIGNED copies of the “Consent for Publication of
Research Paper” form placed after the appendices of the final paper

1 hardbound paper copy*:

 Dark green cover with gold text Print using a LASER or DOT
MATRIX printer

2 additional paper copies*:

 Softbound with acetate FRONT cover & dark green board BACK
cover
 May be photocopies of the original version. If using original print,
use laser or dot matrix printer.

Electronic copy
 Saved in .doc (Word 1997-2003 format) or .pdf (Adobe Reader
format) with the following naming scheme:

2009<SPACE><section code>-<group number><SPACE>

<LeaderLastname>,<Lastname1>,<Lastname2>.doc

Example:

format†
 Include AT LEAST FIVE (5) related keywords right after the body
 Include proponents’ FULL NAMES in place of the GROUP CODE

“Thank you” letter to non-PSHS research supervisor/consultant/institute that

includes the following:
 Cover letter: signed by all members of the team
 Copy of your final abstract
 Copy of your acknowledgement page that mentions the
supervisor/consultant/institution
 One stamped, long envelope with the addressee
