Testing Options
are given the following options for
testing:
Reading, Writing, and Math Placement (most new students will choose this option) Reading only Writing only Reading and Writing only Pre-Algebra only (for those that took algebra several years ago or who have never studied it). Algebra only (for those who have had algebra classes recently) College Algebra only (for those who have completed algebra or pre-calculus).

How is the test scored?


Skills: Scored on a scale from 0 100.
49: Decision Zone. An essay evaluation is required for placement in an English class. 50 60: English 080 Critical Thinking in College & Life 60 72: English 090 Reading & Writing in the Academic Subjects and Study Skills 100 73 79: English 100 Analytical Reading & Writing 80 100: English 101 English Composition I
