This document is designed to outline the specific job skills and/or articulated college credits earned by this student. The information documented here may represent more than one year's effort by this student. All skills, training, and articulated college credits have met the requirements of the instructor, Eaton Intermediate School District, and the participating college, and should be viewed as only the first step in his/her complete employment training or development. TECHNICAL SKILLS: 1 Effectively communicate verbally and in writing using the language of design and web 1 Identify and incorporate the basic principles of design (i.e. unity, line, shape, balance, emphasis, proportion, etc.) in graphic images and layouts 1 Operate Adobe Photoshop for design purposes 2 Create basic 2d animations in Adobe Flash 1 Utilize SketchUp to explore three-dimensional design concepts 1 Create and modify simple polygon objects and their attributes in SketchUp 2 Analyze the relationship between interior and exterior spaces occupied by volumes in real and virtual space. 2 Utilize a logical file management system for organizing project files 1 Identify relevant file types for use in design CREATIVE PROCESS SKILLS: 1 Create design work with proper attention to detail and craftsmanship 2 Apply the elements, principles, and terminology of layout design from thumbnail sketches to final comprehensives 2 Brainstorm and develop design concepts 2 Draw both paper and digital sketches of layout ideas 1 Identify and solve visual problems 2 Create and assess multiple design alternatives 1 Create effective and aesthetically pleasing designs and visual communications 1 Use various drawing software programs to create original images and manipulate elements of existing designs using accepted principles 2 Unify individual designs and full communication packages 2 Demonstrate understanding of color relationships DRAWING SKILLS 2 Demonstrate an understanding of sighting and visual sizing techniques when drawing from life

Effectively use various drawing media, including graphite, charcoal, conte, ink Create contour line drawings from observation Create dynamic gesture drawings based on observation of movement and structure Represent texture and surface through various drawing techniques Identify and represent value changes in an image using various drawing media Create one and two point perspective drawings through freehand observation and technical layout methods Create portraits and self-portraits based on an understanding of facial features and anatomy
