Reggaeton
MUSIC AND DANCING

Concept
The reggaeton is a musical genre. It has very importance in South America and Caribbean. This genre has the own music and particular dancing. The reggaeton has very influence of the reggae and the hip hop and some people considerate that it is the variation of the reggae.

Origin
There are two sources to the origin of the reggaeton: 1.- It provided of the black men of Africa that they arrived to the Caribbean and they brought the different influences of their African music. 2.- It was original of Panama, and the reggaeton has very influence of the the natives of the this region.

Musical characteristic
The principal instruments are: guitar, set drum, bass and the principal is the mixture in the computer. The principal language is the Spanish. The beat is the 4/4 and this music sometimes uses the change the time signature because the principal objective is the arrhythmia. The lyrics is the social criticism and they are very easy to understand.

In this place there are very influences as: hip hop, rap, song lyric and the computer variation.

Dancing characteristics
There are principal movements. The clothes are very daily, and the women use clothes that they stand out the shape. The man directs the movements. MOVEMENTS: The legs separate and the principal movement. The right foot moves to the left and the left leg walks to the right.

Reggae 110: Its to parties and it has double sense in spanish:

vaciln.
Reggaeton with jazz: in this case there are elements of the jazz in the harmony and the beat.

Regae socca: It is the fusion with the Jamaican dances, and the
bass drum conserves the beat of the natives.
