Instructions for
Task: To create an ePortfolio using Livebinders.
You will get detailed instructions and examples of how to create and maintain your binder in class from your instructor/s. If you miss the class, it is your responsibility to catch up. Below are the basic instructions. Ask for additional help if you need it. 1. To start go to http://www.livebinders.com/login and create your free account. 2. Create an Education binder called Ethics. 3. Over the semester you must collect, reference, upload, link any Website URLs, PDFs, MS Word, PPT, video or other materials you find on the Internet or elsewhere in your Ethics binder. 4. You need to make sure you organize your binder in a logical way to make it easy for you or anyone else looking at the binder to find information they are looking for. For this you should use TABS and SUBTABS. You will probably need to name, rename and reorganize your binder contents and tabs as you go along and find more information. 5. Create TABS called Reflections Week 1, Reflections Week 2 and so on. By the end of each week you must write a 100+ word mini essay using MS Word reflecting on and describing what you learned, found interesting, frustrating, or anything else related to this activity or the course. You can add any graphics, audio or video materials, as well as references to supporting materials you wish into your weekly tab by creating subtabs. Originality counts! You must have entries for each week from Week 1 to Week 16. 6. The goal of this exercise is to get you thinking more about the topic of the course, to do independent research, to reflect on your learning, to improve your critical thinking and communication skills, to increase your time management and organizational skills and to create a useful reference resource that you can use and share with others in your future. 7. Read the assessment criteria below carefully to ensure you do what is necessary in order to achieve a good grade.
