Te Paki School needs a new logo. The students are trying to nd out what people in the community especially like about their school. The students think carefully about who they should talk to:
If we ask a lot of different people, we will get a range of ideas. We cant ask everyone well need to ask a sample of people from each group.
We should ask students, parents, teachers, and others who live near our school.
They gather their data and then collate it, using tally charts. Next, they graph the data so that they can look for patterns:
