A throne, rock, beds, thombs. 16. Why did the first globe theater burn down in 1613? Because the cannon that they used burned it down. 17. What was a groundling ? They were the people who brought the cheapest tickets to the theatre. 18. Since stage curtains were not used, how did Shakespeare indicate the end of a scene to the audience? To indicate the end of a scene everyone who are on stage exit at the end of the scene.
