An educated leader empowers others to share, support and develop the vision and mission statement for his/her

school. For all stakeholders to understand the purpose of your leadership, it is essential for student to be guided towards learning and that there is continuous growth through collaborative learning of your staff throughout the school year. To successfully lead, the importance of knowing your personal values and understanding how to develop these four major products for your purpose to create an effective leadership ideology, I have aligned my products with each of the major functions to develop and understand the values I have developed in this program to fulfill the standards requirements. The products I developed throughout the UAS Educational Leadership Program for Standard 1 of the Policy Standards, ISLLC 2008 for Educational Administration, consisted of four major products and are aligned with each major function: 1. 2. 3. Educational Philosophy- Function A. Collaboratively develop and implement a shared vision and mission. Leadership Philosophy- Function A. Collaboratively develop and implement a shared vision and mission. School Improvement Plan/STEPP- Function B. Collect and use data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promote. Function C. Create and implement plans to achieve goals. Function D. Promote continuous and sustainable improvement. Function E. Monitor and evaluate progress and revise plans. Educational Mission and Vision Statement- Function A. Collaboratively develop and implement a shared vision and mission. Function C. Create and implement plans to achieve goals.

Optional: Newsletter- Function B. Collect and use data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promote Function. My Education Philosophy and Leadership products went under Function A, as these are my beliefs towards students, teaching and my foundation towards developing my vision and mission philosophy. This key element towards my philosophy towards modeling the way; sharing my personal values, having a shared vision, envisioning the future with excitement, challenging the process in order to improve and grow educationally, enabling others to act by empowering others to build trust and strengthen the heart by showing appreciation for individual excellence. The School Improvement Plan product went under Function B towards the development of collecting and the use data to identify goals, assess organizational effectiveness, and promoting ongoing yearly school progress. Throughout the school year we would meet as stakeholders on a monthly basis for the purpose of assessing data to identify student needs and supporting those needs through Title One and RTI (Response to Intervention) support. Function C/D/E were also included as we set plans of improvement and to monitor our progression throughout the year for our school and stakeholders to achieve our goals. The Education Leadership Vision and Mission product went under Function A towards collaboratively develop and implement a shared vision and mission statement. The purpose of this product is identifying a purpose and creating the ability to work with others and to be accountable for

our school goal. This product gives a clear sense of the reason we are doing our job. Each school is different and unique, which is why it is imperative that we create our own individual school atmosphere. Through these product descriptions I believe the following artifacts are exemplars of my competency in Standard One and that I used each Function in the development of this product.
