    Created For Glory And For Beauty

    So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (Genesis 1:27).

    hen you study the account of creation youll notice that after God created everything from the first to the fifth day, He looked at what He had made and said, It was good (Genesis 1:4-25). But on the sixth day, after He made man, the Bible says God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good (Genesis 1:31). Man was the crowning beauty of Gods creation the consummation of His work, and the cream of His creation. But the new creation is even more excellent. The Psalmist understood this truth and declared in Psalm 50:2 out of Zion the perfection of beauty, God hath shined..., letting us know that God shines out of Zion. He demonstrates His beauty out of Zion, the city of His new c r e a t i o n . Understand this: youre the perfection and epitome of beauty! Your life is full of the glory, beauty and perfection of God. Youre too beautiful to be sick. Youre too beautiful for the down-life! God created you for His glory, and not for poverty, sickness, disease or infirmity. Youre His excellent handiwork; His perfectly crafted masterpiece! Youre the best of all His creations. No wonder Paul the Apostle declared in Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good

    works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

    Prayer
    Blessed Lord and Father, I thank you for making me so beautiful! Thank you for creating me in your image and in your likeness. Through your Word, Ive discovered that Im the crowning beauty of all your creations. Im too beautiful to be sick, poor or diseased. Everything about my life is excellent, perfect and full of glory. For these I praise and adore you forever, in Jesus Name. Amen.
