1 Switch on the Power Supply from main UPS. 2 Enter a Password in Security Authentication Dialog Box. Get ready with Standard Set of samples along with the balance samples 3 and reject samples. Press F10 Key to activate Menu bar. Select Config Menu and press 4 Enter. 5 Select appropriate frequency and gain at the initial stage. 6 Keep the Standard reference sample in reference coil. 7 Maintain the reference sample in the coil throughout the testing. Keep the Balance Sample in the center of Test Coil and press "B" to 8 balance the system. The Reverse Point will be displayed as a dot on the screen and same will 9 be used for sorting. 10 The point of the Balance sample should be at the center of the graph. 11 Pass 10 "OK" samples through the Coils. 12 Pass 5 "Not OK" samples through the Coils. 13 Select the Operating frequency depending upon component properties. Set proper gain so that there is sufficient difference between the different 14 groups. Set the Threshold in such a way that all the "OK" Samples falls inside 15 the ellipse shown by Green Dots & All the "NOT OK" Samples falls outside the ellipse shown by Red Dots. 16 Eddy Current Test System "Multifect-EC" is Ready for Lot testing. Let Pass to Components whose Threshold falls inside the ellipse shown 17 by Green Dots. Non Conforming Parts having Heat Treatment problem are shifted to 18 Rework Area. Smaller parts are tied with wire so that they cannot mix with OK material.
