As individuals, we Filipinos acknowledge few obligations to the national community.

If we are to develop progressively as a nation, our citizenship must be accompanied by responsibility. NSTP prepares us for this and aims to promote and integrate values, leadership, spirit of patriotism and nationalism and social mobilization for youth development and community building. I chose CWTS as my NSTP course because I believe that everybody is a blessing. We polish ourselves to become a precious gift to others.. What I am is Gods gift to me and what I become is my gift to God. I want to serve and bring hope and love to other people.. And to have FUN in what I am doing. Our partner school was Adamson ES in Samal, Bataan. Though just a little community with just enough facilities for students, it is filled with heart-warming smiles of children with eyes of hope yearning for education and transformation. Our group was tasked for the feeding program. We followed the food pyramid, of course, and did the best we could to serve the best for them. Cooperation in the group was present, and we worked together as brothers and sisters not just as groupmates. We loved our tasks and fulfilled them with passion and leadership. I am proud of being an NSTP student. Cloaked with sophistication of USTs excellence and culture, I want to do more, help more, and serve more. Yet, I believe that serving doesnt end in fieldworks. I will be serving more beyond the gates of UST to the best of my capabilities. Realizations come along the way.. and I realized that every action is bounded by time. The value of time is the best thing we can give&share to others and by doing a good deed that our heart wants will bring joy in ourselves and to others as well. One of my dreams is to become an environmental chemist and in the future, I want to do my service for the environment. =) After NSTP.. I want to serve more, transform lives, and make a difference.
