Tesco Stores Ltd, Liverpool, UK
Responsible for managing over 80 staff, overseeing the running of all the “Freshfood” departments in the
store helping achieve a turnover of £1½ Million each week. As Store Night Manager (for 3 months including
Christmas period) had 4 direct reporting managers.
Instrumental in achieving high turnover through difficult trading periods.
Trained and developed the team, some of whom now manage own departments.
Delivered new training solutions that met the needs of the business and the people.
Reduced shrinkage to £4,500 p.a. under target, (top performance store).
Raised awareness and marketed the store by organising special promotional sales evenings.

recruitment/development/training of team, product management. Overseeing 35 staff.
Also responsible for the motivation and training and development of other managers and teams.
Supporting the Area Manager to achieve stock loss objectives by training managers and teams with regard
to reducing stock losses on the area and region.
