The Additional Commissioner has reported that about 8 Bengali teachers are required to teach Bengali as second language to 2534 refugee students of Sindhanur Rehabilitation Project. 2. After detailed verification, you are permitted to convert 8 posts as Bengali teachers out of 4000 posts that has already been approved by the Finance Department for recruitment immediately. 3. You are immediately asked to request government of West Bengal for 2534 text books (second language) for free of cost; in case, the government of West Bengal denies to supply, The Karnataka Text Book Society shall take appropriate action as per the rules to procure/print these text books.
